We first ate Sesame Paste Cold Noodles while living in Taiwan. They are a typical street food there and also sold in many restaurants. It quickly became our favorite noodle dish and food to eat on the run. We leaned that it began as a dish in the Sichuan province of China.

We have a video on our channel where we make this dish using cucumber noodles with our Taiwanese chef friend, Emma. So that is another option if you want to change up the type of noodles. You can learn more about that in this video.

The full recipe for Liang Mian/ Sesame Paste Cold Noodles is below. We hope you enjoy this amazing and easy dish!
