Similar to a pesto as a use in dishes, we’ve been loving cilantro chutney in all of our meals! We layer it over curried potatoes or tofu, but you can also add it to coconut milk and vegan yogurt to make a dip, as a sauce on sandwiches, and more.

5 Ingredient Cilantro Chutney Recipe

  • 2 bunches cilantro, chopped appx. 2 cups
  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt we used Morton's brand
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 of a lemon (juice only) appx. 1 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp water


  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until well combined and smooth. Serve immediately or store for later use. You can also make several batches and freeze into cubes for later use.
